"Sexy Naturals" Newsletter.. The Ode to the Fro !

This is my homage to the sexy sistahs of the Seventies. I was a Seventies baby, raised in the Eighties, but I know sexy when I see it and I thought it only fitting that I take time and show the Natural and the ladies who proudly sport them some love. In no way am I saying these are the only ladies who rocked the Natural and who deserve time and attention, rather given the limitations of time and the limited images available I think this newsletter does and adequate job of bringing to life the sexiness the Natural holds. Thank you for entering Grego's Image Lounge.

Grizzly Bear Magazine

Mondo Pen Magazine

Cover layout created in Photoshop, Illustrator and finally in Quark Express. From Quark always remember the file has to be "Exported" as a PDF in order to be opened in Photoshop and saved as a JPEG before posting to the Blogg.

Keys and Stars

The Official Business Card. G. Nelson Enterprises

Project began with me saving a profile picture. After setting the background to a specific color (in Photoshop).Create a path (photoshop) save it (name it) Select the whole picture and copy (Apple +A), ( Apple + C) THEN CREATE A NEW DOCUMENT IN ILLUSTRATOR

The illustrator doc is the size of the business card. THEN PASTE the document you copied in Photoshop.

The program give you two options. Choose fully editable.

From this point work the image, color, add text etc. Once completed then save onto desktop as "eps" file.

Reopen in Photoshop and resave as jpeg file.

revised excersize 1 mlj210

Initial crop/ color project. I used the crop stamp to transfer color and attempted to change the eye color. Also cleaned up hair etc.

Excersize 2 MLJ210

Cropped post of Coppola. Make sure image is : " save(d) as" jpg. Get from drop down menu. When Crop stamping the distance is constant, the pixels are taken from an equal distance as the "stamp"/ cursor moves.

excersize1 MLJ210

First touchup jpeg file. Must be saved as jpg, on the scroll down menu. Crop stamp takes from distance, meaning as the crop stamp is used the pixels move with the cursor.
